Mutual Funds
Which are the Sharia-compliant mutual fund schemes in India?
As I discussed in my videos on the YouTube channel there is no purely halal and shariah compliant mutual fund. even the funds considered halal such as Tata Ethical Fund has issues which I have discussed in my video on Tata Ethical Fund. Best way to invest is in individual stocks or may be small case.
Most of Muslim people's misguided on youtube and other halal investment website's they are considering Tata ethical fund, Taurus ethical fund and Nippon india ETF Shari'ah BeES as a halal investment.
May allah show us right path.
@moneybfagmail-com Please add another subforum here, to discuss the stocks. would be better if that list is checked and updated regularly.
@moneybfagmail-com What are the good, shariah-compliant penny stocks, if any?
3 ratios in your screener, can you tell me in details what are those ratios
@moneybfagmail-com ......
@moneybfagmail-com also if you can add upcoming IPO screener of forum as well
Activity : The core activity of the company should not be non-shariah compliant for example companies dealing in interest, alcohol, gambling, non-shariah compliant entertainment, pork, etc.
Ratio 1 : Indicates the ratio of Total Illiquid Assets to Total Assets. This should not be more than 20%.
Ratio 2 : Non-Shariah compliant investment to total assets. This ratio should not be more than 33%.
Ratio 3 : Total non-shariah compliant debt to Total Assets. The max permissible is 33%.
Purification ratio : Total non-shariah compliant income to Total income. This should not exceed 5%.
Please note that for a stock to be compliant it has to pass all the the criteria. Even if it fails in only one of the criteria , it will not be considered halal and shariah compliant.
