Jubilant FoodWorks
This company hold the franchise rights of 3 international brands among them one is Dominos. Even though Jubilant Food works qualify the criteria. But Dominos also sell some non halal items like pork pizza & chickens(which may not be halal). Doesn't this is similar to TCS, Wipro which makes software to banks(some percentage of revenue), which is also not halal.
Need clarification on this. I might be missing something.
In our review of the financials and the overall menu of the Dominos , pork dishes were not found to be part of their Indian business. The company clearly states in its financials that it has non-beef and non-pork menu in India. If you find something contrary do let us know.
As for the question of halal chicken it is difficult to ascertain that and generally local restaurants would confirm that they would use halal chicken and there is little way for an end user to deny or verify their claim.
Food business in itself is halal and other aspects you mentioned are incidental and not the core of the business. If they would have established the business to only sell non -halal meat then yes the activity fails.
To put in simple words , if an individual is comfortable in eating at Dominos , investing should not be an issue, but if one does not eat there and wants to be 100% sure then avoid.
Hope that clarifies.
And Allah knows best. May Allah guide us all to the right path and protect us from wrongs. Ameen.
Thanks for your response & for clarifying too.
Just to add few things. They have pepperoni pizza in their menu for sure. I checked in their website & have seen in local pizza store too in Bangalore(multiples). By definition(Google), pepperoni is combo of beef & pork.
