Mistake #1: Investing Without Knowledge
The biggest mistake is jumping in without understanding what you're buying. People hear a "hot tip" from a friend or WhatsApp group and invest blindly.
The fix:
- Never buy a stock you can't explain in one sentence (what does the company do?)
- Always check at least 3 things: P/E ratio, debt level, revenue growth trend
- Verify Shariah compliance BEFORE buying, not after
- If someone says "guaranteed returns" — run. There are no guarantees in the stock market
"The one who plays with something they don't understand will inevitably be burned by it."
